Maintenance Training Sessions

Sessions will be 4/29 and 9/9 in the Auditorium at our offices at 35425 Michigan Avenue West in Wayne, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Seating is limited, Reservations are required. Please call Joan at 734.722.7233.

Home Maintenance Tips

• 1. Make sure all gutters are cleaned after the fall leaves have fallen. This will help prevent ice dams.
• 2. Check that all storm windows and glass have been installed to help with heating cost.
• 3. Have on hand a covered, five-gallon pail of calcium chloride for the icy days.
• 4. It gets dark early in the winter so make sure that all exterior lighting is working properly.
• 5. Disconnect all garden hoses and store inside.
• 6. Turn off the water to the outside spigots from inside the house.
• 7. Change the air filters in the furnace every month.
• 8. Remove snow from all egress doors, porches, ramps, sidewalks and driveways as needed.
