The weeklong event is set for May 10-14 where hundreds of volunteers will spruce up two Liberty Hill homes in Wayne and Westland. These homes need renovations including landscaping, painting, electrical upgrades, new doors and windows.

ROMULUS, MI – December 2009
"Santa" is giving an extra special Christmas gift to three Sumpter Township men this year: a newly constructed, affordable and barrier-free home! Michael, Nate and Dwayne, who live in a group home for developmentally disabled adults, will move into their own home this month! Their new place is located in Romulus at the Fairways at Gateway development, which is also situated on a beautiful 9-hole golf course.

WAYNE, MI – October 15, 2008
Wouldn't it feel great to make a difference in someone's life? October 25th is National Make a Difference Day, America's largest day of doing good. It's a celebration of neighbors helping neighbors. One local project is happening at 166 South Biggs Street in Belleville. Volunteers will be making repairs on a house leased by Liberty Hill Housing Corporation in Wayne, to people with developmental disabilities.

The home, located at 35266 Norene, is three bedrooms, wheelchair accessible and ready for someone to move in!
