Welcome To Liberty Hill Housing Corporation

Liberty Hill Housing Corporation is a nonprofit organization committed to creating permanent affordable, accessible housing for low income families and persons with developmental disabilities throughout Wayne County. Liberty Hill owns and manages 60 scattered-site single family rental homes supporting nearly 180 tenants. We specialize in creating accessible living space through construction of new barrier-free homes and provision of accessibility modifications to existing homes. Supportive services are available for all of the tenants in our homes through our affiliation with Community Living Services.

Liberty Hill is certified as a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) by the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) and the Wayne County Department of Economic Development. We are also certified by MSHDA to provide home ownership counseling to low-income families and individuals. Over the years, Liberty Hill has counseled hundreds of people and has assisted many to achieve the dream of home ownership.
